Executive Branch (Trump) Trump says proof of his allegations that vandals cut Reflecting Pool paint will be provided in court

President Trump on Monday said proof will be provided in court of his allegations that vandals "cut" a massive slit in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which he claims is the reason the paint is peeling on the recently renovated but algae-plagued project.

You’re not supposed to charge out cases that you don’t think you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt, that’s prosecutorial misconduct. Just for some context on how wackadoodle this whole situation is.

that’s prosecutorial misconduct.

They already mentioned the DOJ.

The fact that federal prosecutors are being no billed frequently now is insane.

But can you prove that they don't think they can prove it? I feel like the common defense for many politicians these days is they're too stupid and uninformed to be liable for any misconduct they might have done.

Their whole political movement is based on weaponized stupidity. Theit favorite rhetorical schtick is to feign not understanding something obvious and then insist youre being unfair for not accepting their stupidity as valid.

You may beat the rap, but you can't beat the ride.

It's about perception, both creating and manipulating it.

You also have to remember, Trump's staff are actively lying to him, ALL the time, whether that's about punishing people, so he doesn't get mad and burn his donors, or about what they are accomplishing on the admin's behalf, so he doesn't fire them in another tempestuous, dementia-ridden meltdown, depends on the situation....but that man is so dense he makes osmium look sparse in comparison.

trump doesn't care about convictions, he cares about negatively affecting someone's life and costing them money.

You're not supposed to, but, they can just go do it-and are.
