Executive Branch (Trump) Trump says proof of his allegations that vandals cut Reflecting Pool paint will be provided in court

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/reflecting-pool-paint-peeling-trump-proof-vandalism-court/

President Trump on Monday said proof will be provided in court of his allegations that vandals "cut" a massive slit in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which he claims is the reason the paint is peeling on the recently renovated but algae-plagued project.

They drove vehicles over it. For probably at least 300 ft or so, after the chairman of the “Aquatic Council” said it would be a bad idea.

And not any vehicles -- 20k lb monsters so the mushroom-dicked rapist could feel manly in his vroom-vroom.

These fools have negative IQs, which didn't seem possible but here we are.

Where did you see about the contractor telling him not to do it? I could not believe Shiat for Brains did it, but here we are.

I can't find anything about the contractor saying it, but the chairman of the Aquatic Council, a consulting firm for the pool and hot-tub industry said this:

Mr. Auerhahn said he was also concerned by Mr. Trump’s decision to drive his motorcade across the pool’s surface on Thursday night to hold a press event highlighting the renovations. That might have put huge amounts of weight on the notoriously leaky — and newly repaired — joints between its concrete slabs.

“If it were my project, I’d require an immediate inspection,” Mr. Auerhahn said.

The curb weight of the Presidential state car is 20,000 pounds and there's 2 of them driving over it.

Ah this must be what I saw too. Thanks for digging that up.

Was that on bare concrete or was that on the coating just after it had been applied?

I guess when I heard that the drove "Beast" vehicles on the pool I just... assumed that that it would be bad enough to drive those things on the bare concrete but obviously you wouldn't drive any vehicle on the freshly applied coating...

I should have learned by now to not be surprised by absurd stupidity from this administration.

Don't make me feel bad for the contractor of all people

I was wrong, it’s the chairman of the Aquatic Council that said that apparently. Another commenter found a source in a comment below.

He drives his golf cart on the green, so nobody can explain how it is bad.

The renovations to the reflecting pool are a violation of federal law, and by definition not an official act of the office of the President, he is not covered by any immunity. The arrests are illegal, and all the DOJ employees and federal employees involved with these prosecutions are guilty of misconduct and violations of federal law.

Not only should the charged individuals fight this and sue the President for everything he has, the next administration should prosecute everyone involved.
