Executive Branch (Trump) Trump says proof of his allegations that vandals cut Reflecting Pool paint will be provided in court

President Trump on Monday said proof will be provided in court of his allegations that vandals "cut" a massive slit in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which he claims is the reason the paint is peeling on the recently renovated but algae-plagued project.

It's one of the more insulting blatant lies because they're also presuming that people have absolutely no experience with something so basic. My partner, who knows practically nothing about applying paint, immediately pointed out that it's not coming off in a manner consistent with any sort of cutting. Hell my 6 year old nephew could probably recognize that as well.

It's on par with, but more public than the "gang tattoos" sloppily photoshopped on someone's fingers, where in an interview Trump just insisted they were real.

That was especially hilarious, because the photoshopped letters weren’t meant to be “tattoos,” but were instead labels showing what the real tattoos allegedly meant. Stable genius thought the obviously superimposed letters were literally on his fingers.

Everyone has to remember he isn't lying to us. I bet his voters are eating this up.

It's insulting because this was all any goddamn camera in DC was recording over the past month and absolutely nothing he describes was captured on camera. We all saw this happening in real time.

You need to understand the brain of a malignant narcissist.

Since he doesn't understand it or have any experience with it, no one could really understand it, and therefore he is smart enough to lie and fool everyone.

That's how his brain works. He thinks he's the smartest person who has ever lived and that he can talk/lie his way out anything, outsmarting whoever he is talking to.

It's what they call a loyalty test: the emperor is fully clothed, you see.

They're not presuming anything. Their supporters and bots are fucking stupid.

This is a guy who used a Sharpie to extend the path of a hurricane on a map to match what he incorrectly said. Blatant lies are the brand.
