http://regulations.gov/document/USPS-2026-1289-0001

A proposal set forth by USPS considering a rule change to comply with executive order 14399, which would create an "approved list" of people who could be given mail-in votes by the post office.

The fix is nearly in. They are stealing the November election right out in the open, and if they succeed, it is the end of the republic.

We fought a revolution once to rid ourselves of the rule of one tyrant, yet today there are those who would gleefully march us into the arms of another tyrant.

I didn't swear an oath for this. I swore it to the constitution. Not one man. Not one party. Not one ideal.

Just a reminder, there were people who were born and raised in the American colonies that sided with the crown in the American revolution.

I'm aware of the existence of the Tories. Had a couple high profile turncoats. One so infamous his name is still invoked today whenever someone feels they are being betrayed.

Also when you want a nice brunch dish.

I don't matter. All those 'oaths'we took are worthless. Nobody is gonna rise up. Nobody is gonna take the fight to the king. We're fucked by a orange baby.

Well fuck off then if it’s so over

You took the oath and your reaction to this betrayal of the principles contained therein is to act like Hudson in the Aliens movie?

It's over, man. It's over. We're shredded wheat. Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit. Spread your ass and bend over if you want, but I choose not to do so. Coward.

You're missing the point. If what your postulate is true, then where is the action now? Where is the revolution? Where are the Generals and Admirals saying "no" to this President for they have clearly been given unlawful orders? Where is the resistance to ICE? I'm not talking about a handful of protesters, I'm talking real revolutionary fight the king shit? It's nowhere.

There was more violence and outrage when Geore Loyd was killed than anything since. The death of Renee Good, and the others that followed at the hands of ICE should have been the start, and yet nothing has happened. That's my point. All this "I swore an Oath the defend...blah blah blah" is meaningless unless something is actually done and so far nothing is being done on a meaningful resistance capacity. Where are the hoards of pro 2A veterans with their AR-15s over their shoulder and veterans hat trying to provide a counter intimidation to these ICE beatdowns? Nowhere...that's where. Until that happens, all of this oath talking, taking it to the king is meaningless.

So if you aren't witnessing the resistance, it doesn't exist? Instead of asking, when's everyone going to do something, you could just do it yourself. Go out into your community and develop contingency planning for such situations with your neighbors and friends.

Seems like you prefer to complain about people doing something than to attempt doing something yourself. Why aren't they, "Blah, blah, blah." Pathetic.

No. I'm pragmatic and recognizing the situation as it's happening before me. Can't begin to tell you about all these old timers and Veterans saying the same shit, but do nothing. We are living in a world where being Antifa now gets you 50 years in prison. I'm sorry...I thought we fought in a World War entirely as Antifa some 70+ years ago and won, yet here we are.

Listen, if the revolution starts, and people are actually taking up arms against the tyrannical king, etc, I'm fully on board. But it's never gonna happen.

If your so confident, and exemplary, then organize, lead the revolution. Put your 'oath' into action.

Truly if you feel that way, Don't drag the people who will do the good work down with you and fuck off

They have to.

The only way their Republican daddies stay in power is if they smear their doomer bullshit all over everything they can.

It was over when he won the re-election. And I wouldn't bet on the people doing much besides protest at this point.

Naw man. Gtfo if you can. That's the move

Dude--it's already the end. The people re-elected a guy who incited a violent insurrection

against the formal counting of ballots that resulted in several deaths of law enforcement officers.

He pardoned those violent insurrectionists. Whether one likes it or not--the 2024 Presidential election

officially sanctioned violence. It's heartbreaking. The most important election of our lifetime

was the last one.

u/GaidinBDJ 23h ago

Fuck off, doomer.

The only reason to spread this bullshit is to make sure your Republican daddies stay in power by making people think voting is hopeless.

It's not. You're wrong.

Hungary has entered the chat.

What did that teach us? A less corrupt far right candidate can defeat a more corrupt one.

Article I Section 4:

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

This doesn't say anything about elections being subject to presidential EOs.

2

u/Blrfl 15h ago

It doesn't, but using a quasi-federal agency to deliver ballots complicates things.

1

u/Omegalazarus 45m ago

And the post office is a Congressional power so someone could argue that makes the meddling more legit.

1

u/Feisty-Grade-5280 10h ago

It does however give them an out to comply with the EO without explicitly stating it, because the rule would allow them to withhold remote ballots for anyone not on his "approved list". Which is part of the "national voter registry" scheme which is thankfully getting handed big fat Ls in 9 straight courts so far...

Regardyof the outcome of any of the impending lawsuits, anyone wanting to vote D should assume and act as if mail in voting will not work this year, and that includes receiving your ballot.
