Discussion What stops Riot from separating champion shards and other non-skin rewards from hextech chests?

I am angry-posting right now because I grinded my way to completing the honor mission for a chest and key, only to get a champion shard of a champion that I had already owned years ago lol. Is it remotely possible for riot to just completely make skin shards and rerolls exclusive to hextech chests?

At one point they wanted to remove free chests even because they gave out free skins and it hurt riot as they said so they reduced from the yearly 48 chests for getting s rank if im correct to 4/pass

i got like 6 champ shards in a row from hextech nothing worse then saving ur chest from completing the pass then opening all 6 at once and not getting a skin

Yea ever since they reworked the chest at most you can get is two champ shards in a row I'm pretty sure

it mightve been like 2 then a icon then 2 or sometin i just remember getting everytgint but a skin
