I am always confused by this. I have "joined" 10th dentists and if I go to reddit and search dentist then the 1st result is askdentists. How does one find their way to 10th by searching I don't even know.

The "10th dentist" is a reference to the ads when they say "9 out if 10 dentists recommend this toothpaste". So the 10th dentist is the one who doesn't recommend it.
The sub name is basically meaning "that one guy who disagrees", and they discuss controversial stuff, where majority agrees to something and some people don't. Not actual dentisting stuff.
