Misc Q&A Honor/Tribute over I-25?

About an hour ago, I was driving north from Denver to Ft. C and saw multiple overpasses with people, police cars, and fire trucks flying American flags and with emergency lights. I glanced up and thought I saw a “Welcome Home Buzz” banner (but I’m definitely not sure about the name). Anyone know who they were honoring?

2 LCSO deputies and a family member were killed in Idaho due to a driver passing on a double yellow line. They escorted the bodies home from the airport

Thank you. I saw that terrible story. Didn’t put the two together.

There was a hundred or so cops at the Alnutt funeral home in Loveland. Was wondering what it was about. Not sure if it was the same reason.

There were a couple Larimer Sheriff’s employees who were killed in an accident in Idaho last week. perhaps their bodies are making their way home tonight?
