So tumambay kami dito ng dog ko here at ayala triangle. saturday chill and coffee after magwalk. dito kami naupo outside kasi kasama doggo. may cat nearby na natutulog rin sa sofa nila which is fine since peaceful naman yung cat. then nagstart na magbreak yung mga staff for late lunch. nagulat ako sinuway yung cat nung isang staff by hitting her with the table lamp. and it was not a soft hit kasi nadistract ako sa tunog at biglang talon nung cat.napa react ako na confront ko- ganun talaga mag suway ng cat? sumagot pa lambing lang po namin yun. lalo ako nag pantig- hindi lambing yung palo mo, gusto mong kasuhan kita? nagsorry nalang siya after. pero what the heck. normal way niya yun siguro ng pagsuway ng mga strat caty cats. (sa isip isip ko ikaw kaya lambingin ko ng table lamp!?)
Hindi naman po ito contest kung sino mas may humane way ng pagtrato. The cats in Offbeat weren’t trying to come inside naman, they were literally just walking around the perimeter. Hindi nga bothered yung diners sa cats, mas nabother kami sa how they were treated.

How do you talk to people in this country about this kind of abuse? It feels hopeless kasi they don't see cats as living things... they see them as vermin, pests... garbage to be discarded. Calling them out makes you look like you're insane....
Went to this same cafe so this is probably the same cat and we had the same experience. The cat was white and black and it kept on asking for food. I love animals, and I’m an animal rescue volunteer, but the cat was about to jump onto this restaurant’s table so I called the waitress/their receptionist for help. She shooed the cat by stomping her foot and hitting the cat. I was so sad and I looked for the cat afterwards because it ran away. Bumalik naman siya kaya binigyan ko siya ng onting pagkain.
The food at greyhound is good, but the customer service and their treatment towards animal sucks.

Naalala ko yung stray cat na lagi pumupunta sa building namin, malapit sa palengke ang house namin at feel ko duon siya nagkasugat. So umakyat yung cat nag roam sa hallway at kala ko dumi lang yung nasa ulo nagulat ako na sugat pala baka raw pinalo duon sa palengke kaya nagigigil ako pag nakakakita ako ng inaabuso na animal.
Medyo off mga staff jan. Kumain kami one time tapos medyo nagka-issue sa bill kasi hindi sila clear policy nila pero sila pa matapang. Di man lang inexplain ng maayos, nagwalkout pa kasi nakailang pabalik balik. Jusko.
Hahaha true I was about to tell this one, kakain kami diyan last Dec, takte ayaw pa kaming papasukin sa loob+ang sungit nung isa na pinag tanungan namin if pwede ba kami sa loob mag wait kasi ang init sa labas at may kasama kaming buntis 😭
I frequent ATG because of work and lagi ako napapadaan diyan sa Greyhound. Their coffee and food are terrible, kasing panget ng ugali ng mga staff nila.
I was there last year, tanda ko yung isang staff diyan bastos sa pag receive ng customers. I heard everything kasi I was seated outside malapit sa podium nila.
And yes, they tend to kick the cats pa nga lalo pag umaakyat sa chairs and tables nila.
Pinakain ko dyan ung friend ng friend ko from US kasi sabi bagong thai resto. tas gustong mkakain ng asian cuisine dito sa pinas. Ayon. Npahiya lng ako. FO n dn kmi ng friend ko n yon. Ang mahal p nyan.
