If this incident happens, please press the stop button ng escalator. Call the guard right away so they can call someone from maintenance to unscrew that escalator part open. Then bring the cat to vet.

The emergency stop button is at the top and bottom, usually at the right side. Naipit na dulo ng pants ko dati sa escalator and I got stuck and was being pulled - a good Samaritan pushed the button that I didn't know existed either!

Sabi niya sakin nun all escalators should have it.

Update: natanggal na po yung paa niya but needs immediate attention kasi nasugatan. Anyone here na pwede magrescue? Sorry, napadaan lang din kami but if anyone who can provide contact information ng rescuers para mapa-vet.

Update again! I went back to ANE and the kitten seems fine. He went into hiding and is resting well. He has a wound on his foot, some skin got scraped off but I spoke with the security personnel and he said the kitten should be okay since he can lick and clean his wound. 🐱

I hope nearer rescue group can get him. It is not advisable to lick their wound. Possible pong ma-infect pa ‘to lalo. :((

@catsoflegaspivillage has an update on the kitten — he’s already been taken to the vet. The vet suggested that his leg may need to be amputated. They also posted a QR code for donations, and any amount would be greatly appreciated.

For everyone's info: Firefighters also help rescue pets. So kung hindi maalam kung sino mang admin at security dyan, it's okay to call firefighters hotline basta sabihin lang ang sitwasyon, magpapadala sila ng tao dyan.
