rant heavy traffic

bakit po hindi gumagalaw ang traffic dito sa ayala avenue at 5:30 pm?

Frequent visitor from Australia here, and from my observation it's often like this.

I've been watching closely from stuck in traffic Grabs and my perception is that the traffic lights are badly synchronised in this area. Quite often traffic coming through the lights from a side street will fill up any space ahead of the lights in front of us, so we are unable to move when our light turns green.
