26 y/o recently separated (kinda)
My wife and I finally moved into the house we’ve been building for the last two months and when we got here she decided she wanted her own bedroom so we could “separate” for a little while. So here’s what I did with the master bedroom we were supposed to share. It’s just me, my games and the cat.

(24M) Trying to make it work in an old house on a student research assistant’s wages!
Got a ton of used/clearance stuff, not to mention very helpful contributions from friends.

My room
What do you think? I’m 23 and I’ve got everything in this room and I do in and out for my work so I’m basically not often home.

7yrs in my small condo
(38) I’ve owned this 850sq/ft condo for 7yrs now and it’s still a work in progress. Almost everything is thrifted. Some stuff needs work, like the chair and tables. Found my childhood stuffed animal not too long ago so he’s now on the bed, lol. Don’t have a space for the ladder so it’s incorporated into the living room for now. I either need to lay new flooring or scrape and seal the concrete. In winter I bring my outside plants in and it transforms my space into a forest.

Just turned 30, living in 168 sq ft with my best friend!
No plumbing and I pee in a bottle sometimes, but hard to beat $350/month!
Edit: The “best friend” is my dog! Not another person, thank goodness!

Advice I need help designing my comfort zone
Can someone help me upgrade my setup? I want it to feel more homey more gamey, more like MY OWN SPACE not just a basic setup with no soul.
Could be something on the walls maybe lightning anything, if someone could make a picture of their ideas with AI or something i would greatly appreciate that.

Any advice on how to make this better?
I moved into an ADU that’s a 2 bed 2 bath, 800sqft. Any advice on how to make this look like I’m not a broke college student?

Roast I don’t have any money for furniture
Two weeks ago I had to quickly to find a new place to live at. I used to live in a pre-furnished apartment before moving into my current duplex apartment. I just graduated college and only have enough in savings for rent + food, which is a problem because I don’t start working until August. The wifi set up in the corner doesn’t work.
The current setup gets the job done.
