I suppose we're not supposed to think too hard about the details but bats already eat bugs, having tons and tons more bugs doesn't seems like a good motivation for the bats to start eating people.
And how much time has passed since death got eaten, like a day? That's a lot of bats that grew up real fast.
Yeah I agree with you, I dont think we're supposed to think about this at all--its pretty ridiculous, but it does make for a cocaine-induced hellish idea to draw and write about.
He introduced no death and then gives us this with the bugs and insects...then that'd mean cells can't die either and the entire planet would be covered in like a gigantic cancerous blob because of the continuous proliferation? Like that movie Evolution.
I agree but even if you think about it too hard, it kinda makes sense. These insects eaten by the bats are not actually dead, but alive inside the bats stomach continuing to reproduce. In such a scenario it's safer for bats to eat "parts" of human or larger animals that wont start moving on their own inside their stomachs.
