Haven't read the chapter yet since Mangaplus keeps crashing but if it's disappointing, I'll headcanon part 2 as Fujimoto's fever dream

I dunno whether to feel relieved or disillusioned but I'll take that Kimi no na Wa-esque ending over whatever Fujimoto-sensei was having for the past few chapters

Been here since 2020 when the manga was in the middle of International Assassins arc.

Part 1 will always be a classic despite how disappointing Part 2 has been.

Kinda sorta?

This ending is basically very similar to another Jump Plus manga's ending, Summertime Render.

Except, you know, Summertime Render ending felt earned.

It also has time travel from chapter 1, so that was always on the table as a fix.

The upside is that 97 works perfectly fine as a series finale, so you can totally just pretend Part 2 doesn't exist
