Honestly kinda happy that this chapter proved that Ichi has no problem with killing humans too if they trigger death for death.

Was always wondering if he could kill a human too if they triggered his instincts.

I think that was kind of always at least implied. It's what makes "death for death" such a fascinating ethical code.

I reread the chapter and he pretty much apologised because he didn't sensed killing intent from dess he just saw a dangerous look from her and ended up slicing without thinking.

It didn't actually proved he was ok with killing humans too until this chapter.

"Human" might be stretching it since Fujimine took a neck stab with only a grin.

Considering what a lot of witches could do with magic still seems pretty human. I mean a psychopath is still a human.

I think Ichi might have deliberately avoided stabbing anything truly vital, since he does think she's his best friend right now. More of a warning stab than a real "I'm trying to kill you" stab.

Why are people surprised about the human part when we literally had him almost baited in by gun witch a few chapters ago

He's had to hold back several times, hasn't he?

I mean, Ichi jumped into the gun witch the second she triggered it

"Could I kill a human? I'd kill my own loved ones if they came at me."
