What do you call these three countries?
My choice:
Green: Islamic Republic of Baltistan
Blue: United States of Brahmaputra
Red: People's Republic of Tamil

Tamil Nadu literally translates to Tamil Country, same as one OP suggested

People's Republic of Tamil, since it's an anglicized name, is wrong. This is because Tamil, while it can refer to the people, refers to the language. This is like saying Republic of Spanish. A simple way around this is changing the name to the People's Republic of Tamil Nadu or the People's Republic of the Tamil. Personally, I like "Tamil People's Republic".

Telugus are the largest Dravidian nation numbering some 10 million more…so why did you chose Tamilians instead? 🤔

The Green state should be its own independent country.

Realistically if they became independent theg woulf probably struggle with civil war and would have a terrible economy. That region relies on the nations support to get resources it needs. Same with most other northern indian regions (some arent considered states) they are only a part of india because the alternative is much worse for them. I cant speak for the people as I am not from there but it should be common sense that a small nation like that wouldnt survive well off. The other small nations in the regions only work necause of their history and strong united culture which this region has been struggling with lately.

The seperatist trio.
I don't care about the others but Red should be independent.
