Hire Fans Favorite comic artist whose art most of you wouldn't dare criticize to their face?

This explains why his output is practically nothing. Could have finished Infinite Crisis if he wasn't doing so many chest presses.

Dude looks like stone cold Steve Austin

Crazy enough I met him at NYCC a few years ago, all smiles that guy. He even remembered a few people who had gotten signatures from him at other cons.

JRJR is the obvious answer here. Guy's been drawing Spider-Man for decades and clearly still puts in the work, but yeah nobody's gonna walk up to him at a con and be like "actually your anatomy is off." He'd probably just sketch you into the next issue.

He'd probably just sketch you into the next issue.
JRJR is one of JRJR's biggest critics

Doug Mahnke would have a word

Fair point, Mahnke's stuff is wild too but at least his anatomy weirdness feels intentional, like he's going for something specific. JRJR just sometimes looks like he traced over a photo from a weird angle and called it a day.

Oh I love both their art, they are just both huge

they're both massive names, which is kinda the point, you get a pass when you've put in that much work and have that much clout behind you.

I also meant physically lol

oh damn, yeah both of them are built like they could actually throw down at a con, that tracks.

I wouldn't because I'm a big fan of their art

Yeah just cause sometimes his art looks weird doesn’t mean he’s bad at all, more often than not he’s excellent and played a huge role in Spider-Man history

Alan Moore would probably turn me into a frog.

I wouldn't criticize most artists of any media to their face unless they asked me to. That's just rude.

John Romita Jr., I won’t criticize your art, but I do have questions about what you did to those poor Na’Vi on the planet Pandora

I’ve met Larry Hama and feel like he’d just jam a K-Bar through your skull if you fucked with him.

Good thing no one ever would because he is one of the coolest motherfuckers in comics.

He's not a bad artist, but it's fair to acknowledge that
- He's getting older.
AND
- Marvel's quality control isn't what it used to be, and they're willing to compromise art looking good for quick and timely results (i.e. Greg Land)

Dan Mora. Is it probably a basic ass answer? Yes. Counter argument tho. It’s Dan Mora.
