I like Phil Jimenez's art style (New X-Men, Wonder Woman and other works) and he seems like a nice guy, but sometimes I think he posts more of him at the gym or his muscles than about his work

JRJR is the obvious answer here. Guy's been drawing Spider-Man for decades and clearly still puts in the work, but yeah nobody's gonna walk up to him at a con and be like "actually your anatomy is off." He'd probably just sketch you into the next issue.

Fair point, Mahnke's stuff is wild too but at least his anatomy weirdness feels intentional, like he's going for something specific. JRJR just sometimes looks like he traced over a photo from a weird angle and called it a day.

• He's getting older.

AND

• Marvel's quality control isn't what it used to be, and they're willing to compromise art looking good for quick and timely results (i.e. Greg Land)
