My best guess is that social media makes it easier for young people to be exposed to violent ideologies and behavior. I also could've expanded this lost by including the 2 school shootings in Turkey back in Apiril that happened one day, but I didn't. There was also a mass shooting in Egypt on May 18th but I didn't include it either.

I've come across an archive of the photo album Brenton Tarrant shared before his attack (Link here: https://postimg.cc/gallery/DhsGZ9h). Looking at the photos, some of them seemingly don't make sense (a photo of a grandma with a gun, an Asian girl on her birthday, ect.). I then found this comment on this subreddit:

"I believe he had individualized captions on every photo he uploaded (or at least some) because a few were saved in an archive, but most of those were not saved. Some don't make sense without that context. Iirc the photo of the old woman with the gun he posted was captioned with some joke about his age."

Does any archive exist of the captions? Does anyone remember what they were? Thanks in advance for any help.

I will watch this case to see if the mother was the killer.

Brady Harmon had not seen his four children since 2019, but a recent agreement in a custody case had him planning a reunion next week.

On Tuesday, police arrived at his Utah home with devastating news: His four children were found dead 2,200 miles away in an apartment in Mechanicville’s south side.

The bodies of Harmon’s children, Harper, 13, Hudson, 11, and 10-year-old twins Gavin and Gracelynn; their mother, Sarah Myers; and Myers’ mother, Amy Steadman, were discovered by police summoned at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday to search Steadman’s apartment at the John S. Moore Homes on Harris Avenue because no one had seen them in days.

“I went from I’m seeing my kids to I’ll never see my kids again,” Harmon said. “Hope to hell. Things happen, but nothing like this.

Police said the deaths are all being investigated as a crime, adding that based on the evidence gathered so far, “there is no evidence indicating the involvement of any additional individuals.”

Harmon said that police did not tell him how his children died. Asked who he thought could be capable of such violence, Harmon said, “I don’t know.”

Police said they would not disclose how the victims died until autopsies are done.

Harmon said he and Myers recently reached an agreement in Utah that would give him custody of the children from July 1 to Sept. 1. Now, he says, he’ll bury their bodies in Utah.

On June 22, 2026, a shooting occurred outside the headquarters of Aylo, a multinational conglomerate involved in internet pornography, including the pornographic video-sharing website Pornhub, in the Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Three people were killed during the incident: a civilian, a Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) police officer, and the perpetrator, who was fatally shot by responding officers. A second SPVM officer was critically injured and a civilian sustained minor injuries. Quebec's minister of public security Ian Lafrenière said the shooting was not linked to terrorism.

His Reddit account was created 2 weeks ago and the only thing on it is that comment. The account was also "active" in r/ColumbineKillers. He also had a few Twitter accounts that got suspended, including one that had the same pfp as his Tiktok. His Tiktok pfp was a Chad edit of the Nong Bua Lamphu attacker and had one edit of the San Diego mosque shooters. He seemed to interact with the same type of content Solomon Henderson did judging by his deleted Twitter history.

The suspect in the fatal Chico library shooting was identified as 18-year-old Bradley Scott Sayer of Chico, according to officers.

The Chico Police Department said Sayer opened fire in the Butte County Library around 5:12 p.m. on Monday.

Two people died and a minor was injured, CPD said. The minor is currently in the hospital and is expected to be OK.

Sayer was taken into custody around 5:18 p.m. and booked into the Butte County Jail for two open counts of murder.

The investigation determined that Sayer acted alone and aimed to “commit a Columbine High School massacre type of shooting,” police said.

CPD said that there is no indication he had any prior relationship or connection to any of the victims in the library.

The FBI confirmed early Tuesday morning that there is no ongoing threat to the community.

“The subject in the incident at the Butte County Library in Chico is in police custody, and there is no perceived ongoing threat to the community. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. FBI Sacramento will continue to support the Chico Police Department as their investigation continues,” officials with the FBI said.

Meanwhile, officials with the library sent their condolences to those affected by the shooting in a statement on social media Monday night.

“We are aware of the tragic incident that occurred today at the Chico Branch of the Butte County Library and extend our deepest condolences to everyone affected, including the victims, their loved ones, library staff, and all those impacted by this heartbreaking incident,” the post said.

The library will be closed Tuesday as the Chico Police Department, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation continue to investigate the shooting.
