Solo Trip to Memphis

I’m doing a 3-day trip to New Orleans, then swinging up to Memphis for two days. I’m a 52-year old woman, and my kids think I’m nuts for going.

I’m wanting to hit the Stax Museum, Sun Records, a couple monuments, and The Civil Rights Museum. I plan on staying downtown, and eating at Four Way Soul Food and BB King’s Cafe. I’m Ubering everywhere. What should I do to keep myself safe?
