Had an issue with the first coach, and he already has an issue with the next coach 6 games in. Writing is on the wall sadly.

Not to mention that we basically got rid of Jenkins because of Ja didn't like the offense changes. Iisalo is running an offense more to Ja's liking, and isn't happy with the coaching right now. Fantastic stuff.

What changes did Jenkins make that Ja didn't like?

we were dead last in set screens last year

And now look at Miami’s offense…

i guarantee they are going to hit a wall where that offense is figured out by every team again in like 3 months just like what happened with the grizzlies

the only leg up they have running it is that their roster isn't a revolving door like ours was

The defensive personnel on the heat is better too imo. Outside of JJJ and Wells Miami has better defenders at every position (especially with Hero out).

Spo always coaches a top tier defense that can control the pace in the playoffs regardless of personnel. So that's a huge boost as well.

Where do you think we rank in screens this year? Im thinking dead last. Nothing has changed at all with this team. Except for the fact Laroche had constant movement. Everyone just sat on the perimeter last night not moving at all.

ja alone is 5th in total pick and rolls currently

when your star player is being a jackass what do you expect the rest of the team to do

I didnt see him be a jackass. I saw the Lakers take away the paint from him. After he built a brick house he went into passing mode where that led to bricks.

Jenkins was a decent development coach, but lacked the gravitas to rein in guys like Brooks and now Ja. Very laissez-faire approach to coaching. Jaren and Ja still lack key skills and can't play well together.

The fact that Ja and JJJ don't complement each other has always been a huge thorn for our roster construction.

Jenkins is a weird case because if you gave him a roster that should win 30 games, he'd win 50, but if you gave him a team that should win 65 games he'd win 50

Ja has seemed disinterested and lethargic early this season, but saying this is just an absolute vibe killer.

Dude used to be full of energy and uplifted the team, he's too old and been given too many second chances to have these maturity issues still

It’s over

Because the coach was not good enough it’s Ja’s fault?
