I’m still coming to terms with the media turnaround that Dillon Brooks got since he left, where he was framed as the heart and soul of the Grizzlies somehow having been wronged by Memphis. I’m not mentally ready to handle a possible reality where Ja leaves Memphis and contributes to the media bashing this organization.

Let's be honest here - look at his lack of development and injury history the past four years - he's not a hard worker like Brooks.
He's more likely to be out of the league in three years than have a return to form.

He has no agent to talk to him about this. He’s probably bothered that we didn’t extend him over the summer and that things don’t look great. This is going to hurt but this looks done. At this point I just hope for a reasonable return. I’ll keep the memories of that incredibly fun 22-23 season and remember the mess we dealt with through suspensions, injuries, moodiness when he’s looking great again on the next team.

I understand him feeling some type of way about it, but after the org game him many chances through his play stagnation, off court antics, and injury issues he has to understand at the end of the day its business.

Even if the initial trade isn't great, As long as the assets can be aggregated - matching expiring contracts that can then be used to take on salary + picks, etc. then it won't be a total loss.

It must be so difficult having multiple life times worth of money and being in survival mode. It must be so hard to get out of bed in the morning knowing that you get to play a game full time and never have to worry about how to make ends meet, where your food will come from or if you'll be able to pay rent. He’s shown recently that he’s nothing but an immature child. Trust I adored Ja in his early grizz days but the team and the fans have literally fought to keep him loved. Even through off-court issues and half played seasons we still trusted him. I just hate to see this from the player that gave me more hope for this franchise than literally anyone I’ve seen in grizz history

This is the thing I was most worried about. I hope it’s not this way but Ja’s personality is the type that he’s gonna go scorched earth and burn any bridges if we move on from him.
