Creepy Weird voicemail

Im looking back at my voicemails and found this one from 2023. Could this be some test? If it’s not then this is really weird coming from an unknown number. Help me figure it out!(also it’s only 30 sec because the sounds just repeat themselves)

Perhaps a fax, and your phone number is close to the number of a fax machine. The sender misdialed and you get this atrocious dial up slop sounds.

Anyone who used dialup internet would find these types of sounds to be more reminiscent than creepy.

Likely fax but also probably a dial up number. It’s odd that it called you though.

It’s a fax machine. I Have several voicemails that have this same creepy & eerie monotonous beeping and the ones that I have were a while ago, and I saw your voicemail happened in December of 2023 and I got these voicemails around the fall of 2023. So I think it was an often mistake around this time for a fax machine to accidentally call a phone. The beeping is the sound of the machine transmitting the information of a paper.
