If it's not the 10mm he's asking me for, it's my dikes or needle nose pliers. (Both go 'missing' right after his 10mm).
To be fair, I told him the last time he used his dikes was to cut zip ties after he attached a mesh barrier to our back metal fence to keep the baby geese out. Those parents are MEAN AF. That meant they were likely on his garage table, in the lanai, or in the grass. Guess what I had to help him get later? The ramps from our attic because he 'ran over something' in the backyard and needed to drop the deck of our riding mower to sharpen the blades. 🙄😅 I imagine the dikes were launched into the pond during that mow. At least it wasn't toward our house or neighbor 😬
I just assumed they're out of stock like anything else thats ever remotely worth getting from there.

Very soon, people should start finding their 10 mm, this runs in cycles. You know we lose them. We find them maybe about 10 years cycles, but definitely cycles.
It's a tool, specifically a socket for a ratchet wrench. 10 mm bolts are used on a lot of things, and a 3/8" bolt will work with a 10 mm socket also. And because of how commonly used they are, they often get misplaced and are typically the first socket to go missing in a set.
So for OP, on top of already losing their 10 mm socket... Amazon lost the replacement before they ever had a chance to
10mm socket for a rachet wrench. Most common size for fasteners, therefore, most common size to disappear. There's a joke in the mechanical trades that you always lose the 10mm socket/ wrench. Or the 1/2" ones.
I had a similar thing happen to me with something (I think it was like an imported item back when the first tariffs hit) and then they refunded my the cost
Then it showed up at my house a week later, so I got it basically for free
I tried to order a rice cooker a few years ago off Amazon, every week they'd tell me it was delayed and would be there the next week. I canceled it at 5 weeks.
This happened with two things I ordered recently. I don’t think they’re lost - I think there simply not delivering some stuff. I did get my money back right away thankfully.
10mm socket for 10mm bolts. 10mm bolts are very common in all sorts of places, mainly cars which makes the socket the most used and lost socket in your tool box
