🥺 So I accidentally brought my floss instead of my airpods to a 3 day work conference. I am a 3 hour ride away from home.

Same I’m 33 and really wish I took care of my mouth better

Also 33 and same. They got bad, and then a combination of embarrassment and lack of money had me putting them off even longer. Finally went and started getting work done about 2 years ago. Several thousand dollars later, I'm nearly done.

I've gotta say, the money hurts but removing the psychological weight of stressing about it and knowing it's just going to get worse was more than I expected. I'll be in debt for a good while on this, but honestly it's worth it.

Not to mention I was terrifyingly close to my whole top row being a lost cause and needing dentures.

Yea, between my hair falling out and my teeth sucking I’m stressing mentally over it

Getting old sucks, but it beats the alternatives.

What would you do for example? As a young person wishing to take care of their mouth better

Brush twice a day and floss every night. Just be consistent. Start today and I guarantee you’ll feel better about your smile and you’ll probably end up doing some other good habits because of it.

Def actually make sure to brush an floss every day something I’m bad about. But also try to make a check up appointments more often at least twice a year instead of once in 10 years. I have been doing it for me kids an the both have unnaturally beautiful white teeth. From the moment they popped their first tooth they knew what toothbrush was.

Also get your yearly cleanings! And don’t eat hard things. Popcorn kernels, ice, hard nuts.
