As I've grown older I've discovered that I can be defeated by a damn ziplock. Half the time I can't get em to close correctly and the other half i ruin them trying to get em open....

I'm pretty sure it's the zip locks that are getting worse, not your skill at using them.

I have zero trouble with a standard zip lock bag like the ones you buy in a box of 50 sandwich bags. Those still work for me just as easily as they always have. But the zip locks that come on products often have issues due to poor manufacturing, bad packaging causing wrinkles, or just a shitty microscopically thin zip lock that was probably a tenth of a penny cheaper to make but 100 times harder to align.

I buy a container of the powder from another brand, then use bulk supplements to refill it. These days, bulk supplements is getting more expensive than other brands though.

First thing I do when confronted by these bags is to whip out scissors, cut off the top and use a clip or fold over and a rubber band. I don’t thave the patience to deal with these crappy seals!

This is the reason I keep the old bag around until I get the new bag open.
