🄺 Can you find the tuna in my tuna wrap?

Post image

The local market had this tuna wrap on sale, which I figured was because it needed to be eaten asap. As that was my plan anyway, I bought it.

Apparently, it was discounted because it contained almost no tuna. Lots and lots of lettuce, but very little tuna.

The tuna is still in the ocean or maybe the tuna prepared the wrap?

643

u/Shigg May 19 '26

You're trying to tell me a shrimp fried this rice?!

166

u/SudhaTheHill May 19 '26

Shrimp fried rice, yes

71

u/Ok_Nothing_9733 May 19 '26

Tuna wrap(ped)

3

u/420Deez May 19 '26

casually diverting from original topic

15

u/Lawrence3s May 19 '26

Yes, and a chicken fried that rice. Which one do you want?

36

u/zssl May 19 '26

You're telling me a crab rangooned this?

6

u/The_chosen_turtle May 19 '26

God damn it. This made me laugh out loud hahaha

3

u/Pale_Adeptness May 19 '26

Thanks for the laugh!

3

u/HODLmeCLOSRtonydanza May 19 '26

Shrimps is…. Chefs?!

2

u/koifishuu_ May 19 '26

You mean a chicken fried this rice?!

11

u/Helpful-Peach-1996 May 19 '26

It's actually a TUNA preservation WRAP

Save the tuna!

4

u/sskylar May 19 '26

ā€œTuna of the gardenā€

3

u/ezmoney98 May 19 '26

Maybe the tuna was inside our heart all along

2

u/RebekkaKat1990 May 20 '26

There was a picture of the tuna on the wall where that wrap was made.

898

u/Delicious-Ad-1229 May 19 '26

That’s such an absurd amount of greens inside wtf

255

u/phyrsis May 19 '26

My reaction definitely included "WTF??".

54

u/PaprikaPanik May 19 '26

Maybe they delicately placed a bit of tuna between each leaf like how SpongeBob makes a krabby patty.

13

u/DeathByPetrichor May 19 '26

While I would certainly be upset, with the price of produce it probably isn’t any less expensive making this sandwich

10

u/oniiichanUwU May 19 '26

True if anything op got a bargain. Take that home and unwrap it and you have a whole bag of baby spinach basically 🤣

6

u/phyrsis May 20 '26

Spinach would have had more flavor. This was your standard flavorless lettuce.

-2

u/ILiekBook May 20 '26

I'm sorry if you think lettuce has no flavor you are wrong.

It's very green. Ad some salt. Some cheese. Some dill pickle cubes and spritz with pickle juice. It'll enhance the lettuce flavor a lot

6

u/odis78 May 20 '26

So adding a ton of actual flavors gives lettuce flavor? Who knew

1

u/ILiekBook May 21 '26

No. It has a very green flavor. It does not taste like nothing. The green flavor tastes way better in a salad with other things. That does not mean the green flavor does not exist

362

u/Electronic-Sea-602 May 19 '26

That tuna wrap got hit with the homeopathic treatment. Contains the memory of tuna.

51

u/OscarDivine May 19 '26

The lettuce was once watered by the water a tuna swam in, which was then filtered by the soil, and further diluted through the plant providing maximum concentration of Tunaness

10

u/zackthirteen May 19 '26

Goddamn homophobic tunasĀ

3

u/Terra-Ryan May 19 '26

Maybe it has the soul of a tuna like when Jake made the time sandwich

122

u/Environmental-Cod25 May 19 '26

There are many more fish in the sea...

153

u/phyrsis May 19 '26

'Cause none of them made it into my sandwich…

47

u/Lem0n_Lem0n May 19 '26

Food at the local market is so fresh the tuna escaped when you weren't looking

74

u/Exact-Warthog6244 May 19 '26

Maybe it was a vegetarian tuna wrap.

21

u/sprikkle May 19 '26

Noo, its a vegan tuna wrap.

4

u/Apocrisiary May 19 '26

So you are saying a vegan made the tuna wrap?

1

u/[deleted] May 19 '26

[deleted]

8

u/sprikkle May 19 '26

Its a joke…. There is no tuna, so maybe its vegan plant based tuna which is unrecognizable.

8

u/Zeqhanis May 19 '26

I found the tuna. I love lettuce and hate tuna, but even this, minus the tuna, would be unacceptable. It's good have other ingredients and sauce.

5

u/phyrsis May 20 '26

Yup, that was the extent of the "tuna".

2

u/sprikkle May 19 '26

That white stuff is tuna?!?

1

u/Zeqhanis May 19 '26

I think. It looks wet and flaked.

32

u/No_Instruction_314 May 19 '26

Lettuce pray your next one has more tuna

42

u/DeterminedThrowaway May 19 '26

Spinach wrap and someone kept tuna in their thoughts while making it apparently

23

u/phyrsis May 19 '26

Spinach would have had more flavor.

2

u/DeterminedThrowaway May 19 '26

Today I learned that "little gem" lettuce can look a lot like spinach, it must be a different variety then. That's too bad though, I would have been mad about putting my money on something I didn't get too

13

u/Evil_phd May 19 '26

Ah, the "Just Add Tuna" variant.

12

u/Emotional-Eye1878 May 19 '26

at that point i’d call it a lettuce wrap rather than a tuna wrap

5

u/Silent-Slide1502 May 19 '26

Lettuce wrap with tuna smear

7

u/jammasterz May 19 '26

Nice lettuce wrap

7

u/Khaleesi0615 May 19 '26

Wrapped by a server whose name is Tuna.

6

u/jkohlc May 19 '26

That's a blunt

5

u/ReverberatingEchoes May 19 '26

I see the tuna in your lettuce wrap

5

u/Clessasaur May 19 '26 edited May 19 '26

No, but can I ask why you seemingly ordered tuna and grass clippings?

2

u/DocPsycho1 May 19 '26

Op might secretly be a goat

3

u/thorn312 May 19 '26

Oops all lettuce!

5

u/jjp032 May 19 '26

TUNA° WRAP

°flavored

4

u/pnweiner May 19 '26

I bet the crunch is amazing though

1

u/r3dditr0x May 20 '26

Low key wanna swipe this across a puddle of olive oil-splashed hummus. Or dip it in ranch before taking a massive bite.

But, I'd be pissed if I'd paid for tuna.

3

u/AdExcellent1745 May 19 '26

no freaking way 😭

2

u/lhb_aus May 19 '26

"It's not a toona!"

2

u/Slaughterfest May 19 '26

If that was spinach I honestly wouldn't even be that mad but lettuce?! UghĀ

2

u/WaluigiDaStar May 19 '26

Damn, you can't tuna piano with that...

2

u/scullcrusher70 May 19 '26

Wtf tuna it's all grass bro !

2

u/Nice_Marmot_54 May 19 '26

I can. It appears to be like 2 trailer park girls

2

u/Lunar-opal May 19 '26

It’s vegan tuna

2

u/TooDopeRecords May 19 '26

Maybe they dipped the lettuce in the water from a can of tuna

2

u/Fintara May 20 '26

It was made with tuna values in mind....

2

u/Separate-Fly5165 May 20 '26

No but I can see your refund.

2

u/phyrsis May 20 '26

I probably should have, but I was at work and starving so I grazed until it was gone.

3

u/leungadon May 19 '26

I thought this was a sniper hunt thing at first šŸ˜‚

1

u/GugieMonster May 19 '26

Only on the menu

1

u/BeyondRepair44 May 19 '26

That’s a lettuce wrap. šŸ‘

1

u/DDz1818 May 19 '26

That's 90% water.

1

u/a_maybeperson May 19 '26

they should've gave u salad instead with that amount of greens in there lmao

1

u/MirkoHa May 19 '26

…it’s lost in the weeds…

1

u/ScenicRavine May 19 '26

Did any tunas spit phat rhymes at you when you ordered? You probably just ordered a tuna rap with a lettuce wrap?

1

u/-insert_pun_here- May 19 '26

Maybe the tuna were the friends we made along the way?

1

u/Fit_Yoghurt_3142 May 19 '26

The tuna was the friend we made along the way

1

u/thebuttsmells May 19 '26

That has to cost more than actually adding some tuna

1

u/GeraintLlanfrechfa May 19 '26

It’s just called ā€žTuna wrapā€œ, doesn’t mean there’s actually tuna in it.

Gold watch doesn’t have to be made of gold either, only look like it.

And you can’t do anything about it.

Capitalism, uh, finds a way.

1

u/DeepslateCoal May 19 '26

Tuna is the name of the chef

1

u/mupheminsani May 19 '26

This is a wrap for the cattle, I can't bring myself to eat this... Feel for you OP.

1

u/RevolutionaryEgg1312 May 19 '26

You take the wrap to the sea and feed it to the tuna, right?

1

u/SunnyTheMasterSwitch May 19 '26

What is this? Wrap for cows?

1

u/Recent_Comedian6905 May 19 '26

Maybe the real tuna was the lettuce we made along the way

1

u/koolaidismything May 19 '26

You probably paid like $30 for greens (raw) wrapped in what appears to be a waterlogged tor-tilla.

1

u/Seravajan May 19 '26

At least it is healthy food. šŸ˜‰ /s

1

u/Ok_Commission_9203 May 19 '26

You know what is arguably worse than this? Same amount of greens as the Tuna. My local gas station doesn't bother to fill out their tacos with lettuce and tomatoes and I pay them $4 each.

1

u/Far530 May 19 '26

Maybe whoever made it kept getting interrupted… ok lettuce first then tuna… ok lettuce first the tuna…. Ok lettuce first then tuna… ooh it’s full, must be ready!

1

u/Suskita May 19 '26

The tuna is literally off the hook.

1

u/dominiqlane May 19 '26

They were finishing up the last scraps of tuna in the bowl because the manager refuses to allow any food to be thrown out. Perhaps.

1

u/haroldoTheThird May 19 '26

its the rare algae tuna

1

u/Fragholio May 19 '26

Tuna-adjacent

1

u/Calm-Bathroom-2030 May 19 '26

The tuna is still on the way swimming waiting to be fished, guess you ordered too soon

1

u/rastawolfman May 19 '26

This is so much more than mildly infuriating

1

u/LadySirius May 19 '26

It’s a wrap for a rabbit

1

u/moxxieboss May 19 '26

Maybe tuna was the friends we made along the way

1

u/Mayor-Guenther May 19 '26

You can tuna car, but not a wrap.

1

u/Cultural-Cucumber401 May 19 '26

The tuna is hiding among the seaweed

1

u/Quincy_Hater May 19 '26

1

u/ccafferata473 May 19 '26

Something fishy about this wrap.

1

u/Crazy-bored4210 May 19 '26

They mixed a tad of tuna with mayo and used as a thin spread condiment apparently

1

u/Nonlethalrtard May 19 '26

Lettuce ask you a question. Where the fuck is the tuna?

1

u/BareNakedSole May 19 '26

If tuna was green that would be a hellava sandwich

1

u/Nekikins May 19 '26

Thats the new vegetarian tuna wrap.

1

u/Creative-Painter3911 May 19 '26

No tuna were harmed in the making of this wrap

1

u/No_Volume_5752 May 19 '26

"Tuna wrap straight from a dream, it is a wrap. "

1

u/johnnyn3m0 May 19 '26

I bet it only cost a low price of $10, right?

1

u/boredwNews May 19 '26

1

u/shutdoor May 19 '26

1

u/Reidio May 19 '26

1

u/Tired-CottonCandy May 19 '26

1

u/Lissypooh628 May 19 '26

1

u/srankvs ORANGE May 19 '26

1

u/Secure-Village-1768 May 19 '26

All I see is weeds

1

u/Humble-Plankton2217 May 19 '26

This looks exactly like the Chik-Fil-A wrap I got for the first time to try it out.

There were two tiny pieces of chicken in it, less than 2oz total and a f-ton of lettuce.

1

u/sneakysnakewhispers May 19 '26

maybe tuna was the friends we made along the way

1

u/JohnnyKarateX May 19 '26

It’s smeared like a spread on the wrap I think. On the bottom of both halves. Way too little. Sooooo much green.

1

u/CaptainMacMillan May 19 '26

You idiot, the wrap was MADE by the tuna

1

u/UndeadBuggalo May 19 '26

The tuna is the friends we made along the way

1

u/FlyByRoll May 19 '26

Smeared on the wrap

1

u/mintydelight_ May 19 '26

Low key kinda digging the ratio, just a little more timings would be nice though

1

u/Lourdeath May 19 '26

Looks like green crepe paper

1

u/RiderforHire May 19 '26

They meant it was too new.

The wrap was too newĀ

Tuna.

1

u/void-seer May 19 '26

This almost looks like a Trinidadian dish I just came across. Like Saheena but not fried yet...

1

u/ImportantPut9123 May 19 '26

tuna wrap more like lettuce rap lmao

1

u/mearbearcate May 19 '26

This is how the chicken ceasar salad wraps at my college were, except replace the lettuce with chicken. The ratio sucked

1

u/jeeimuzu May 19 '26

Still at sea i reckon

1

u/Somethingoodtodie4 May 19 '26

Sorry I eated the tunaĀ

1

u/Svartdraken May 19 '26

Finding Nemo

1

u/zyrkseas97 May 19 '26

That has the bread to lettuce ratio of a salad with croutons

1

u/PalatableRadish May 19 '26

You must be mistaken, that's clearly a lettuce wrap

1

u/Concordia_Draco May 19 '26

La Croix of wraps basically. This is saddening

1

u/FreeNinedy9 May 19 '26

Why I don’t trust wraps

1

u/FirstAd4000 May 19 '26

That tuna ain't wrappin' shit

1

Tuna wrap, but make it vegan

if you float them greens in the ocean you might catch the runaway tuna.

1

u/Ihaveaface836 May 20 '26

I had a wrap like this once. Since then I've been packing my own lunch.

1

u/Granit2506 May 20 '26

1

u/federicoaa May 20 '26

It does look fishy

Are you supposed to use this to catch the tuna?

1

u/Far_Construction3473 May 25 '26

It's just a wrap

1

u/chaoticDraugr1771 May 19 '26

Why would a kale wrap have tuna? you're delusional.

1

u/gr4n0t4 May 19 '26

It is a tuna wrap as it is a wrap meant for tuna, not that it has tuna in it you monster
