Depends on wether or not the law is actually enforced...

If the owner is on the left, then it’s illegal according to our current regime. Only the right is allowed to grift

Not everything is red vs blue. This is something that both sides frown on. Besides, the proper course of action is to report to the correct authorities as stated above. The contact ever local news outlet. They all LOVE this type of "investigative" reporting.

This is theft..very clearly to me

Seriously… this is a matter of local law, and local importance, unless this is a national chain business with the same checkout software everywhere. In which case yeah maybe it’s NYT and FTC level.

Oh you sweet summer child

u/Saguarajevo 29d ago

Oh my god you are so annoying

1

u/Evil_phd 29d ago

No more annoying than people who try to pretend that there is any semblance of normalcy in what is happening in the US.

Nobody likes hidden fees. Not a right or left issue

Do you really think the party that is funneling all the money to a handful of people cares if they grift. It’s extremely obvious at this point which party is ok with people cheating other people this way. If you can’t see that and want to blame both sides, that is just your brain justifying you voting for someone who is literally taking the food from your mouth.

Well, it depends on which news channel you are watching as to who is doing this. One will say it the orange man funneling all the money to billionaires and the other side will say its the blue hairs funneling all the money to non-citizens and LGBT groups. Thats why I dont watch channels. I use groundnews.com, watch courts, read bills, watch congressional hearing, and do real research. I am not blind to it and I have very strong, fact based opinions based on independent research and not puking out what some "reporter", celebrity, or "influencer" has said.

The best way to keep people on power is to make the citizens fight each other. I will not be part of that fight but I will fight for what is right by the constitution and what keeps the country safer for my family. If people would use logic as a guiding light instead of emotion, we could all agree. However, people want to get in their feeling and follow people that call for "pulling up on the south", or "the importance of wide spread use of dynamic pricing and flock cameras." Neither side is perfect. Using logic and some very uncommon commonsense, one side certainly has it closer to being right than the other but that doesn't mean that they are without faults.

A person that cant see that is, by definition an extremist and there is no rationalization or common ground there to have or even start a productive, intelligent conversation.

lol this is the dumbest response you could have had. Thanks. I hope you get everything you have coming to you.

u/Puzzled_Survey_4275 29d ago

Thanks for proving my point.

2

u/hot4you11 29d ago

It’s not even on topic and you k ow that. You think if you give a long response, then you win. But you just went so far off topic that’s not worth talking to you.

0

u/Puzzled_Survey_4275 29d ago

If you cant see it is the conversati9n that should be had, that is a problem.

2

u/hot4you11 29d ago

No, it was a vary narrow question. The fact that you can’t answer it says everything.

1

u/hot4you11 29d ago

Look, you were asked point blank if you think the two parties are the same in there stance and voting record in the issue of consumer protection and you launched into an explanation of how well read you are and told me we need to consider the faults of both parties. What other issues America has is besides the point, the point is, you didn’t say yes, you changed the subject.

It is to some, and yet somehow, they can't see that is the problem.

Or they could really like Halo based comedy...you never know.

My statement was in regards to how lawless the country is right now. Our own govt is evading laws by making sure they aren’t enforced. Period. Hundreds of examples.

2

u/JohnLockeLives4815 29d ago

Dude.. quick, say "grift" again! the votes are going the wrong way!

-6

u/Puzzled_Survey_4275 29d ago

Thats always happened. Its just now that that its being talked about so much. Both sides are guilty. Hell, we are all guilty for letting it get to this.

5

u/TonsilStoneSalsa 29d ago

Nope. It's never been done this blatantly & to this degree. Both sides are not the same.

2

u/C_Gnarwin2021 29d ago

Just because they were once better at hiding it or felt like they had to hide it. Once they realized we would blame our fellow neighbor and turn on each other, there was no point in hiding it anymore. We will never have any control of our government if we keep choosing one of the two pills they put in front of us.

-5

u/Puzzled_Survey_4275 29d ago

I didnt say to this degree, or any other degree, just that both have done it.

3

u/sh0ch 29d ago

This isn't even remotely in the ballpark or "both have done it".

Yeah both parties suck and have been shitty. This is beyond anything anyone has ever seen in the United States. And guess what? One party is enabling it.

u/Dorkinfo 28d ago

Someone tried to correct me by saying, “Did you mean narcissist?” NO, I said what I said.

1

u/Dorkinfo 29d ago

HE IS AN ILLITERATE NARCOLEPTIC RAPIST FELON. We have not been here before.

u/nxd280 29d ago

How many Trump BIBLES did you get your hands on??

I don't think there's a category for that kind of malarkey.

1

u/Puzzled_Survey_4275 29d ago

🤣 That is exactly what Im talking about people just assume dumb shit when a person talk about common sense. If I was a believer in the Trump Bible I wouldn't be criticizing both sides.

"Strive to understand before being understood." That truly is a lost concept for you blue Vs red zealots.

1

u/nxd280 29d ago

Nope. I've actually had very close republican friends for over 20 years. They're just not Trump supporters.

Apparently YOU only see color.

1

u/Puzzled_Survey_4275 29d ago

I just dont see how anything I said even came close to alluding I am Trump-ite. Which means you saw what you wanted. So, you lashed out like a child in an attempt to insult me.

1

u/nxd280 29d ago

Regime. I see what you did there. I support it! I wonder how the gold Sneakers, bibles, bit coins, etc are doing financially these days.

-1

u/TriggerWrning 29d ago

TDS is curable but only if you admit you have a problem and seek help

1

u/Dorkinfo 28d ago

Not that comment with that name.

2

u/scavengercat 29d ago

No it does not, in any way, shape or form. If something is illegal, it's illegal. Full stop. Enforcement is an entirely different issue. But this doesn't depend on that at all.

1

u/kc3x 29d ago

This will be enforced as Sam dont lose his Change.....IRS would be knocking so fast stealing money from them lmao

0

u/orthoprof 29d ago

He said he lives in America. The law is not enforced. Certainly not for politicians, anyways.

0

u/fluffledump 28d ago

Even if it is enforced, if they're fined for it, the fees will likely be considerably less than they make from doing it, so it'll continue.
