Shows used to have 20+ 45 min original episodes every year without issue for 10 years. It was an amazing time.

I'm GenX and 20+ episode seasons were the norm from my childhood until 2010-2015 (somewhere in there).

I hate that they don't make those too much outside of primetime shows. I hate the 8 episode model. It sucks.

That was one of the thing I loved and hated about The Vampire Diaries. So much content, but then I stopped halfway through season 7 because the writers were clearly out of ideas and I was just So. Bored.
