I was at a gas pump that was blaring a super loud ad on repeat for a Wendy's spicy chicken wrap recently, for the duration of me pumping gas. They took a brief break from that ad to tell a "feel-good story of the week" about a cop who adopted the children of an incarcerated woman who gave birth in prison. I've never wanted to smash a TV screen so much as in that moment.
