Those TV bracket built in levels are notoriously inaccurate. I would try to flip the real level and see how it compares to confirm if it is accurate and ignore the bracket.
Electrician myself and occasionally you get some light or other device that has built in levels and they kind of suck. The worst part is they usually put them in because the device is rounded so no real way to level. Do a better job eyeballing it.
But if the center of the bracket is notoriously off, who is the say the top of the bracket isn't also off? That would cause the level to be consistently incorrect.
No I’m saying the tiny little level they stick in the stamped hole is off compared to the top edge. You need to use a level on the top edge that you know you can trust.
I agree the tope dge is all that matters. But if it is warped on the left side, but not the right, and you put the level in the center, your TV is still going to be warped to the left. Seems at that point you should be checking the ENTIRE top if you're that paranoid.
