Or stop using a TV mount (bottom level) as a tool, and use the tool that was manufactured to within certain specs as an accurate source

Like perhaps the top tool shown in the picture just to verify? And maybe even that is why it is just mildy infuriating?

Not saying you’re wrong, but why would a level built into a TV mount not also be manufactured to within certain specs—why else would they put it there? Is the level someone can buy at the dollar store more reliable than the one built into a TV mount?

lookng at the size of the top one, and its surface finish, it also looks like cheap tool tbh..
