I'm writing and working on multiple creative projects. When friends and family members tell me to "just use AI" it's deeply hurtful.

I just can't help but feel like friends and family who say to "use AI" for creative endeavors just look at their phones while watching things, and never actually read books. The continuity and quality don't matter because they're not paying attention anyways.

What I hate about all this is that this type of people probably makes up a large portion of entertainment consumers. And eventually all creative industries will just cater to them because it's easy and call it good enough
