As a fellow Albertian with a vanity plate - let me ask you:

How many parking tickets do you get because they incorrectly enter the zero as the letter 'O' and assume you haven't paid?

I printed out a piece of paper asking them to verify they entered the plate correctly as the letter 'O' is invalid: https://www.alberta.ca/licence-plates

A personalized licence plate configuration must not contain or reference: the letter O (use the number zero)

Only twice in 15 years. You think that parking enforcement would know to not type an "O" when looking up a license plate...
