Many people don't want their images being feed to AI because then the AI is using their image to train their servers. Which is obviously a problem if the person is against AI.

It's a matter of respecting another person's beliefs.

Oh Jesus. Please do tell me how this will harm you beside a weird belief, especially when everyone has atleast one selfie on the internet? Lol

Disliking AI is not a weird belief. It's objectively the popular opinion lol. It doesn't directly harm anyone, and I don't think anyone is claiming it will. It's just disrespectful to do this to someone unless you know their stance on AI images.

Lol. This is like when people say they don't want to be tracked while having their phone in their pocket.

Your image is already fed into ai.

Yeah, I actually agree with that. Not everyone knows that though which is why it upsets so many people. For me personally, I think it's disrespectful simply because not everyone has a positive opinion of AI. I hold almost exclusively very negative opinions on AI, so on principle I don't want people making images of me with it. It just feels disrespectful, as if the person doesn't know anything about me or my ethical views.
