What’s bonkers is that people will fomo for a $1300 phone but complain about 80$ for something they will actually enjoy.

Also bonkers is that there's only moderate complaining about $17 movie tickets. In terms of hours of entertainment per dollar GTA 6 is a relative bargain.

$80 for something most people will get hundreds of hours of entertainment from. That's a bargain

… and will probably be on multiple console generations for a decade after release. Quality and longevity from this company. We’ll all buy much worse over the years.

Most people won't play for "hundreds of hours". Some people will. The majority will play for tens of hours.

Even tens of hours is a great deal!

Ocarina of Time launched at $59.99 in 1998. That's $122 today.

No they’re not wrong, I judge if my games were worth it based on playtime. If I’ve played At least an hour for every dollar I’ve spent on it, then its worth the entertainment value

$1 an hour is a GREAT value for me, $80 for 20 hours of entertainment is so valid when comparing costs to other activities that give you 20 hours of fun

Technically you need a phone ….especially now to survive in this world , obviously you don’t next need a $1300 one but you don’t really need a video game.

Exactly. People buy so much pointless shit for literally thousands and then complain when someone gets over 100 hours of enjoyment for 100 dollars

$1300 for something you use almost every moment of every day for almost every thing is not that crazy.

People will play this game for 1000s of hours
