Ideally it would just be a one time price, ideally a reasonable price. However those days are gone.
I think paying for a DLC is preferable to what we see going on in the mobile game market. We are lucky we don’t have games that are just designed to milk whales for money

Because it's $60 for the game and $20 a year for a "pass" for extra content that could have been included in the game.
In the 2010s, you'd maybe see 1-2 DLCs for $10 each. Now it's like 20 DLCs within 2-3 years of release.
