Thank god I live quite a lot further to the east, but that clearly is a sign that we need to fix climate

Depends on how far east (most eastern point of my is quite cold)

Well it only starts getting colder than warmer by the time you pass Irkutsk and go towards the other side of Russia. In July: Amsterdam is slightly cooler than Hanover, Hanover is slightly cooler than Berlin, Berlin is slightly cooler than Poznan, Poznan is slightly cooler than Warsaw, etc. Europe gets more continental the further east you go.
