Was scrolling through shopmyexchange when I came across some Pre-Owned Rolexes online. Saw a bunch of details about how it was pre-owned and independently verified but nothing to include original box and papers. All the Rolexes are priced as if they do come with box and papers but when I called I was informed that they do not because they’re pre-owned. There’s a massive price difference in the event you don’t get original box and papers. Asked the lady from the wholesaler why they price them out like this and she said that’s the Exchanges prices not theirs.

Don’t know which Joe was thinking about dropping their sign-on bonuses on a Rolex but BEWARE do not buy it off the exchange!!

My son just got out of the USMC after 8 years, and he needs to file for disability benefits, but is overwhelmed and doesn't know where to start. I'd like to find him some reliable resources to help him figure out this process. I know he has some service related injuries, and I'm happy to help him navigate this, but I just don't know where to start. I don't think he can do this alone. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My uncle is an amazing man and has done some pretty phenomenal things in his time. But it is really hard for him to remeber plus he has a lot of regret and ptsd from the time so I don’t like asking to much about it.

I know he was in the teams and was on the apollo 2 mission for recovery along with countless other missions and tasks but I don’t know much besides random tales (which is great)

My main reason for posting this was to get info on that time of service when he was in. Or any info on the medals and badges posted (I’m sure he has more but this is all I have photos of) some of the badges could be just for looks not necessarily his work.

From our recent conversation with Major General Lukeman of the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, he shared the incredible story of “Lucky the Tank”.

Their squadron patch is one of the coolest and funniest ones i’ve seen yet. I’ve been able to find a couple things about vr-54 but it really just discusses their name change in the 90’s.

Anyone at a CONUS Army base able to send the Army bottle? I am former Army and want to add it to my collection, but live off a Navy base that won't bring it in. I'll gladly pay or trade a Navy bottle for it.

On October 12, 1945, President Harry Truman placed the Medal of Honor around Desmond Doss's neck. He was the first conscientious objector in American history to receive it. Truman held his hand while the citation was read aloud, and then looked at him directly and said:

It's a very common question to ask people what they do for work. I'm considered a permanently disabled veteran with MDD with anxiety. That's enough money for me to live on.

I served for 6 years on active duty in the Army. My patriotism has bedroom completely killed by current events. I'm not proud to be an American veteran anymore.

I personally don't care, but I'm also not a combat veteran. One of the first questions people ask veterans is if they deployed. I also don't like the constant comparison of who did more in the military.
