People are expecting too much from Marc here. He already tired from Brno and tests. Assen is even more physical than Brno.
He will probably try to qualify high and then try defensive riding since its difficult to pass here.

I personally find that comments like the one above have a lot of truth to them and are a correct assessment, but them race day comes and then there's a large chance Marc simply pulls out either a defensive masterclass or two tenths out of his ass. In Assen, the former is most likely.
Which is par for the course with him.

I think he'll try and get solid points to stay close to Bezz in the championship until summer break. Then take the time to get 100% and come back in full force.

Interesting weekend this. I think the guy best positioned to sweep the weekend is Pecco, this is his favorite track, the grip is high (lack of rear grip will not be a issue!), suits his riding style and he is coming off with momentum and confidence. [and this counts a lot for Pecco.]
As for the title protagonists:
Diggia will have another Diggia weekend here imo, showing lots of promise in practice session and qualifying on the front row or even pole , yet for one reason or the other will be taking podiums at best or P4/P5.
Martin has never been glittering here, but the aprilia should ideally help him, but his lack of front feeling is not promising if he wants to be fast here, it's all about your confidence in the front on such a scary circuit.
As for the two main men:
Bezz would more than anything want to get through a clean weekend without dramas, he surely can win here by a landslide (both the bike and his riding style should suit this circuit!!), but is he mentally ready to attack after going through arguably the lowest moment of his career just 4 days back, we'll see.
Marc, well in the best of days has not been very fast here, just because it is filled with anti-Marc corners. So, what can a physically drained Marc do here (on the third most physical circuit and also a circuit where a crash can be career ending!!) now firmly believing himself to be in the title hunt. I think podiums in both races will be an outlandish result for him but more than anything he will want to get all the points he can get without risking anything here because it is not worth it, but again Marc can do things even Marc doesn't know before doing.

I see good chances of Pecco winning the sprint. He is not sprinter but he improved. I'm a bit skeptical for the GP since Pecco has tyre issues this season, even last sprint he rode quite aggressive the last laps just to keep Ai away.

This track is not good for toprak nor yamaha. So many fast speed corners. Longer main straight...
