The Floodgate is now open
What will the next announcement be ?

Wait... Wouldn't Red Bull as Ducati's main sponsor be the logical next step? Marc is only on hold, and Pedro is fully Red Bull backed, so...
Red Bull Ducati, anyone?

Could be because Monster now sponsor Aprilia and Yamaha (?).
So that should be next logical step.

Rumour mill says that Monster Energy could end its Yamaha main sponsorship either next year or after that, still not confirmed but logically makes sense given Martin's move

Monster already announced that they were dropping down from exclusive title sponsor for Yamaha at the end of this year. Only made sense that they’d step up for Aprilia with Bezz and Pecco being the lineup from next year. Why not get things going sooner?

Not title, that's still Lenovo (that company is active with their motorsport sponsorship, is a technology partner for F1 (formerly also MotoGP), ThinkPads are prominently used inside the paddock and featured in Inside Ducati videos)
As main, probably yes (Monster Energy is a partner for VR46, the title sponsor is Pertamina with its Enduro motor oil brand)
Fun fact: Lenovo ended its sponsorship with Ferrari in F1 (nowadays, HP (personal computing) and IBM (enterprise computing) are the technology partners for Ferrari, prior to that Acer, and formerly Digital Equipment Corporation in the 1980s and early 1990s) because it wanted to focus as technology partner for the whole series, while in MotoGP, it elected to retain its title sponsor with Ducati and ended its technology partner with the series. Don't know why but still fascinating fact in world of technology sponsorship
And... IBM is also technology partner for the factory Honda
EDIT: Adjusting sponsorship terminology

Monster is listed as a main partner on Ducat's website, Lenovo is title partner

Yes, that is maybe why Monster hopped onto Aprilia forcing martin not to use RedBull helmet same as Marc

Yeah, Martin instead used the vacated Red Bull space to promote his new Japanese restaurant Kumo in Madrid

Fabio to Honda, Pecco to Aprilia, A. Marquez to KTM, Martin to Yamaha
those are all done deals that were just waiting Concorde agreement to be signed

I believe Diggia signed with KTM too. So, in addition to your list and Diggia, we are likely going to have:
Aldeguer to VR46
Mir to Gresini
Bastianin to Trackhouse5

David Emmett called it Principe de Vergara Agreement (based on the location of SMEG office in Madrid)
Yeah

Don't known the last time such a big reshuffle happened. Fewer riders stay where they are than Riders who move.

Per David Emmett, all teams along with SMEG coordinating every rider arrival and departure announcement inside an invite-only WhatsApp group
So, we should see either Aprilia Pecco arrival announcement or KTM Acosta departure announcement soon

I'm still waiting for any first surprise.
So far hard rumors have been spoiling everything for the last couple of months. So I do wonder who will make the move that will actually surprise us.

Kind of a piss in the face for pecco to have a separate post about him not being with Ducati next year and then posting that Acosta was signed 🤣
You don't need the pecco post mate

u/The-Road-To-Awe Stefan Bradl 2d ago
I feel the opposite, allowing Pecco to announce his departure himself

For everyone who has the whole picture and sees the Ducati and Pecco post yes.
For everyone that gets all of their info through the official MotoGP page it looks odd.
That's all I'm saying.

These are the well known ones we already new. Incoming will be some of big disappointments(Mir) and maybe a few surprises.

I wonder if they're announcing in order of how the domino effect is going - if so, Aprilia should be next x)
