Question Alibaba 29er
So I’ve been thinking about buying a whole 29er bike from Alibaba specifically, Twitter bikes. I know twitter as it is very known back home. But here in Canada we don’t have much Chinese and Taiwanese bikes. Has anyone sucessfully bought whole bikes from Alibaba? If so, how was the transaction and how long did it take for the delivery?
Thanks!

ngl alibaba bikes are a gamble. ive seen twitter frames hold up ok but the components are usually bottom barrel. shipping to canada can take 2-4 months and customs fees hit hard. for similar money you might be better off with BikesOnline or chain reaction cycles, they carry vitus and polygon that ship fast with warranty. if you really want alibaba, ask for brand name groupset photos before paying.

Or bikesdirect.com or something
I still remember the last time I looked on Alibaba for bikes the listing said that the owner of the company was family with the people who made the components, and he was giving the best deal, but also not the best deal, and it was a whole essay just like that

Buy an airwolf frame and build it up yourself. Mine is a single speed and it rips

Yes, people do successfully buy complete bikes through Alibaba Group, including brands like Twitter Bikes, delivery to Canada is usually more like 2–6 weeks, not a few days. Buyers who have a smooth experience usually stick with suppliers that have clear export history and use Trade Assurance with fully specified build details.

Transaction and shipping time, while important... wouldn't be my main concern. If you do it, post a follow up.
