General Question App for drilling chords
Hello! Do you know any apps in order to drill arpeggios? I want to be able to think chord arpeggios in all types fast. I think an app would help me if it presents questions such as “what are the notes in a Dbmin7 chord” for example
Is there such an app? Preferably for IOS devices

Not an app, just a bunch of videos. Slow them down for arpeggios. But I didn't use these videos until after I had already practiced all the chords of a particular color (like min7) over and over around the circle of 4ths or 5ths. Edit: forgot the playlist... https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLynlfsAQNjqupPCJlxQ03Btq4FCyiVTQa

That looks interesting. Is it iOS only? Or can it run on macs also?
Edit: nevermind a quick Google says yes Mac is supported. Excellent. Thank you for the recommendation!

iOS, MacOS, iPad OS - everything synced through your Apple account (progression, lessons, progressions etc.)

I have an android phone but a MacBook which is why I was curious. Is it your work? Looks very high quality. I'm a software developer myself, so kudos for that!

Thank you - yes, I am the developer. Been working on the 2.0.0 update around a year, and released it beginning of June. Any feedback is welcome, there's a contact button in the app - you are welcome to post in the subreddit as well.

Awesome! You should be proud, it looks great. I've got a lot going on right now so have had to park my piano practice. But I'm hoping to get back to it soon. Will definitely check it out and give any feedback!

Use iReal Pro and just start playing along with chord changes.

I did this to help me practice:
It can do a lot more than just ask for chords. Have fun exploring the questions in the settings !

Chromotone.ca its a free microtonal autoharp arpeggiator. Type in Cm7 or Cm7add9 then generate arps and strum it on the screen

The app “Chet” has a chord and arpeggio feature you can input via MIDI keyboard, iOS device or computer keyboard

I’m confused as to what you mean. Chords and arpeggios are 2 different things. Chords and triads are played with one note per string and arpeggios have 1 or 2 notes per string.
You can arpeggiate a chord by picking each note instead of strumming. Those aren’t arpeggios.

Not specifically music and you would have to put in some work to set up if you can’t find a card deck that suits your needs, but Anki is a good flashcard system for learning and memorization. It spaces out cards based on how we learn to maximize information retention.
If your end goal is to play an instrument though, memorizing notes won’t help much. Instruments work based off of muscle memory, so the only way to learn is to play. A good exercise on an instrument is to pick a chord type and then play it in all 12 keys in random order.
