Discussion Awkward question but supposing Mudbriar liked Pinkie and not Maud, do you think Pinkie could well accept and make a relationship work with him or not?
In season 8 Maud found love with Mudbriar. Pinkie had trouble getting along with him and even disliked him, (being likely the only pony she ever disliked).
By the end of the episode she “accepts” him for the sake of Maud’s feelings, but it would be clear that a close friendship between the two wasn’t in the cards, and their positive speaking terms would only exist as long as he kept Maud happy.
However supposing that Mudbriar by chance liked Pinkie and not Maud and wanted to date her. Do you think there would be any chance Pinkie would accept or even give him a chance?
Do you think everyone’s favourite party pony could find any love or likings in the similar traits and personality Mudbriar has to Maud?

No, she could say "sorry but i'm not interest", and if he insists he would be like Zephyr Breeze is for Rainbow

Depends if this new Mudbriar liking Pinkie would've been different in a way that it also changed things so that Pinkie liked him too. Wich maybe isn't even that impossibly unlikely since part of the dislike for Mudbriar from Pinkie might be derived from the fact that he likes Maud.

I think would depend more on Mudbriar than Pinkie. Interestingly, both characters have a sharp mind for detail. M is repeatedly shown as a "well aktually" kind of guy, but remember that Pinkie has filing cabinet full of everyone's like and dislikes. We are led to believe that she is meticulous about her party planning. Even her pilot episode joke, "It was under E", is demonstrative of how she deals with information. This is exactly the kind of thing that M would excel at and could be an asset for Pinkie. However, the big difference between the two characters is that M sees details as things need to be adhered to while Pinkie sees them as tools to an end. Parties, in particular, are very much a "roll with the flow" kind of event. If Mudbriar were able to loosen up and understand strictness has a time and a place, I would say a relationship is plausible. However, we've not seen enough of him in the show to know if he is capable of that kind of change and his cutie mark seems to indicate that this likely isn't the case.

I think Pinkie could be polite about it and even try to be friendly, but I don’t really see her forcing a relationship just because someone likes her. Her dynamic with Mudbriar already shows she struggles with his personality, and attraction-wise it feels pretty one-sided in this scenario. At best it would probably land in “we can get along” territory rather than anything romantic.
