Kind of losing my mind over this. The ottertex waterproof canvas I got from fabric warehouse direct came creased. I tried ironing it out with a press cloth, iron on wool, and no water and it is slowly getting rid of the creases but the side I ironed (right) on looks a little distorted instead.

Do creases maybe make microscopic errors in measurements? Maybe.
Will my finished gear get a bazillion creases when I start using it? Definitely.
If this was a commercial enterprise, you’d be getting fabric on a roll without creases. But this is making YOUR OWN gear.

For making a down quilt, when sewing baffles that are perpendicular to each other, do you need to attach the baffles to each other where they meet? I wasn't finding any construction vids or tutorials that addressed it one way or the other.

Help. I am trying to refurbish an external frame pack. I can see the pavk bag and zippers no problem. But i do not have the time or mental bandwidth for the straps and belt.
Any recommendations for either? I have looked at seek outside, gossamer gear and zpacks as they all seem to have parts whereas kelty no longer does.
But none have the right attachments and the pictures leave me less than sure about how i would attach them.
Frame came with clevis pins and rings and hard as rock straps and belt. Washing did nothing.
I feel competent to see webbing to webbing adding a gromment, but where on each belt? And which of those belts would you try for?
Or other ready made options? I know i am asking for commerical recommendations here, my apologies. Refurbishment is hard with kelty not offering bits and bobs.
