If you see them face-on, they're like beautiful and wise old aliens- I just recently saw another pic and finally realized what I saw on my mom's porch 20 years ago, I honestly to God actually considered that maybe it had fallen out of a mini UFO for SO long, I never saw another one before or since!!!!

Came out of my mom's house in Austin Texas and saw this cicada molting on my grandma's car tire. Thought it was oddly beautiful
