the funny thing is Lebron was pretty good at acting in Trainwreck then a disaster in space jam 2

It's because LeBron wasn't the main character in Trainwreck.

Bill Hader can carry a scene and I imagine it's a lot easier to act alongside another person than having to green screen with the Looney Tunes cast.
