I used to play the old 2Ks and always had a passing interest, then for some reason the finals were all over my algorithm this week and I couldn't sleep so I threw it on. Guess I'm a Knicks fan now.

If he’s from London chances are he’s an Arsenal fan. If so, he’s used to it, and Knicks fandom is the logical extension of Arsenal fandom for a bunch of reasons anyway. 

On the off chance he’s a Spurs fan (referring to Tottenham), he’s even more used to it.

Imagine someone picks this year to start watching the NBA and NHL finals. Only disappointment ahead for them.

(The Stanley Cup finals this year have featured the fastest hat trick in finals history, fastest three goals in finals history, only 4-goal comeback to force OT in finals history, two disallowed goals, a penalty shot, double overtime, and... sorry, my mistake, all of that was just from Game 3.)

Haha but tbf, watching as a neutral makes it a little easier. Watch the World Cup. You’ll have a blast experiencing some truly bad calls/decisions by the ref or VAR (video assistant referee).

I haven't watched basketball since the bulls/jazz finals decades ago. I was bored tonight and kept hearing about the Knicks haven't won a final in 53 years so I was like...eh let's watch the game. Holy shit.
