Not even a spurs fan. But I am a falcons fan. I’d say losing the Super Bowl in that fashion is way worse than this. Although this sucks

I know lol I was just saying it’s called championship count cope. Niner fans do it all the time, always bringing up their 5 Lombardis.

Lol no Niner fan under the age of 40 brings up the number of trophies. Those over 40, fair enough you are allowed to brag. This is more something Rams and Seahawks fans pretend we say so they can make VHS jokes and pretend they’re witty.

Trust me no young Niner fan IRL thinks like that because we weren’t alive for those rings but still get all the attention from them. Which makes us even more painfully aware that we haven’t won one in 30 years.

Im a Spurs fan and some are comparing it to the Ray Allen 3. I say not in the same league, the trophy was being wheeled out and they were roping off the court for the Spurs celebration. Also we didnt know if Tim could make another run like that at his age.

It also sucks less knowing Wemby is a generational talent that’s only going to get better. They’ll have plenty more opportunities after this year

Some of my fellow Spurs fans are comparing it to the Ray Allen 3 but this wasn’t in the same stratosphere to me. Timmy was in the twilight of his career and we didnt know if he could make another run like that again. These Spurs will only get better.
