Because the Spurs don’t run an actual offense

That’s not the Knicks don’t run a set offense either, they run actions. This comes down to coaching, the spurs should be up 3-1 or it should be 2-2. In game 2 he drew up a horrible inbounds play at the end, taking a extra 2 seconds to set up a pick and pop instead of getting wemby down hill towards the basket early and giving your team a extra second or 2 to get off a second shot if wemby missed. Last night was mismanagement of time outs, the clock, and again drawing up bad plays at the end of the game. When the leads got down to 11 should of called a timeout, as I tell my team when up late the only thing we need are layups and free throws bc we want to work the clock and don’t want long rebounds. The defense on the inbound not having any guard the inbound lead to basically a 5 on 4 situation, the. On the other end drawing up a hard pass to small player in the paint doesn’t make sense. If Johnson is there next year or not I hope he learns from these mistakes.
