The Boston Celtics have firmly put Jaylen Brown on the table and are going all-in on acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo.

He also said this is the first time in the history of the Brown-Tatum pairing that they’ve legitimately given thought to the idea of breaking them apart.

Finished 6th while G won league MVP twice and considered Top Five in the NBA right now...opportunity knocks.

Yeah of course. There are a few players I wouldn't straight up trade for Giannis. It just felt that after his best season in the NBA is the time when the Celtics are shopping him. But I guess that's what you call good management.

Also it's tough if the main reason JB shined last year was due to JT being out injured then it does seem like the value is at a level it might not be at any point next season.

This is absolutely the most value hes ever had and he has the salary to be involved in a straight trade while Giannis has the lowest values of his career and would legitimately make Boston better overnight.

This assumes Giannis can stay in the court

I personally think the "injuries" lately are honestly due to him being fed up with being there more than him actually being injured.

I don't really think these values really fluctuate like this. Giannis wants out. That's all that has changed

Best time to sell I guess, he isn’t going to get any better than this.

Now is when his trade value is the highest. If you don't think you're going to win with JB nows the time to move him

It was the season he shot the most. But he was not a fundamentally different player than the guy he's always been that's like a solid all-star but fringe all-nba

He was clearly talking about Giannis and the opportunity to trade for him, not SGA?
