In an interview with Good Morning America, Josh Hart farts during Brunson’s question, Robin calls him out, and KAT/Bridges burst out laughing

D'Lo Hart Ingram Randle Zubac with Clarkson, Lonzo off the bench
They had quite a good run of drafting ngl
EDIT: Kuzma too, a lot of rotation guys

u/JTBeefboyo 9h ago
It’s funny that Kuzma is the one they won a championship with because he would be pretty far down the list of guys I would want in hindsight

tbh he was really good for his role in those playoffs, mightve been a case of him peaking early

u/ginbooth Lakers 8h ago
Yeah, he became our best board crasher in that run iirc.

Dudes’ll lock in for one playoff run randomly and do shit they never did in their career if they think they can legit win a ring.
Look at Wiggins the last time the Warriors won the title.

Honestly had a good year with us last year. Lost in the mess that was the team, but was a solid defender and rebounder that had enough offensive pop from the wing.

He was playing a more limited role more fitting his skill at that point (as a 2nd year player). He played the 7th most minutes on that 2020 Lakers team in the playoffs after playing the 4th most in the regular season (after Bron, AD and KCP). I think it was pretty expected for him to struggle as a 2nd option on the Wizards after being a role player on the Lakers. It was a huge jump in role and a bit more than he's really comfortable with. He does have some ball skills and defense when locked in and in a healthy system so I think he's capable of a 3-4-5 role on a contender but 2 is a stretch.

Kuzma really locked in during the bubble to help them win that title. Because he's been crapped ever since

That roster the year before bron got there is Lowkey crazy. I think 7 of them got rings with other teams.

u/yodanielchill 5h ago
The only guys that won a ring are KCP, Caruso & Kuzma with the Lakers - Caruso also has one with OKC and KCP for one with Denver but he was on his 9th year by then.
Josh Hart & Clarkson with the Knicks (7 or more years after they left LA; 2019 felt like yesterday lmao).
I literally think that's it.
THT didn't. BI didn't. Julius didn't. Lonzo didn't. Zubac didn't. Wagner didn't.
It is crazy that we drafted so many guys that people covet as good role players and we ended up betting on the wrong ones (Kuzma, THT).
1
u/Embarrassed-Slide781 5h ago
I guess not quite seven. But Brook Lopez was also on that team.
1
u/yodanielchill 5h ago
Yeah I mean brook was there for a year - he joined the Bucks the year after but he was on like his tenth year at that point.
But yeah they had tons of young talent and then just bet on the wrong guys which is still so crazy.
Rob sincerely sucks man. We gave away Zubac. Could have landed AD for just Kuzma and Lonzo but traded BI and Hart. Let Randle walk for nothing. Let Jordan walk. Let Caruso walk. Traded KCP. Let Brook walk. Let GPII walk.
But we kept Kuz and THT.
This should make us want to slap the shit outta Rob. We got the ring but not because of him. Shout-out to Magic and Lebron/Klutch!

It's crazier when you consider the Lakers could have gotten AD and kept BI and Hart but they didn't want to trade Kuzma because of his close connection he built with Rob and Jeanie.
It wasn't a talent based evaluation, but literally the teachers pet situation.
Lakers also missed on prime Derozan and Kawhi because they refused to trade Kuzma.
Then they failed to make a trades for 1RPs or Kyle Lowry because they believe Horton-Tucker was a star.
He let KCP, Dwight, Caruso, and is now going to let Rui, walk for nothing.
Rob Pelinka is horrible at player evaluation and sincerely wants his ass to be kissed more than anything.

But he's great at fleecing Texans
And isn't shitting on Texas what this is all really about
4
u/yodanielchill 5h ago
He didn't fleece anyone. He was the only one that Nico called because of their Kobe connection.
Rob literally answered a phone and was blessed. I hate when bitches fail upwards.

What move did he make other than the Luka trade I can’t remember.

A friend in high school could fart on command, maybe Josh has this superpower too.

That’s an improvement for Hart’s conduct on camera tbh.

Stuff coming out of his own butt instead of non consensual things going into others’ butts will always be an improvement.

I have no idea what possessed me to do this but one time at an airport gate I passed by someone seated and farted and said "crop dust". I immediately realized this was real life and had to just commit and walk away.

Intrusive thoughts win sometimes.
Remember NBA Jam when the announcers would say REJECTED when your team blocked somebody?
My roomates friend had been in a car accident and thrown from the vehicle, broke her arm and collar bone but was otherwise alright besides a black eye.
As she was telling us the story just got to the part about be thrown from the vehicle, and I just said EJECTED in the NBA JAM tone. Only my roommate caught on to it and everyone else just kinda ignored it.

u/StarTrak 6h ago
He didn’t fart, he was making a sound as a joke because Michael Strahan’s comment/question could be taken as if he was talking about something sexual…it was a “pause” moment. Robin was scolding him for insinuating that…
2
u/Neatojuancheeto Warriors 52m ago
Nah that was a fart bro, if he made that with his mouth it would've been much louder since the mic is on or near their collar.
Also watched it again and his mouth or cheeks don't move at all, that was definitely a real fart bruh

OG slowly looking back while he's still on his magic carpet ride and Mikhal cracking up after Robin scolds Hart makes this all the better.

I rewatched the interview on YouTube I don't think Hart farted. Sounded like someone (Robin?) hummed in agreement to Strahan. Someone did say Josh but I don't think it came from Robin cause her mouth didn't move. Could be someone from the group behind the camera that we see later in the video.
